Hello I’m Derek, I’ve been a member of the choir since 2017. I’m a farmer by occupation. I find the choir an excellent interest as it isn’t weather dependent, which is important. Fine weather pursuits become troublesome. As interests go it certainly isn’t expensive, and possibly the most important is that it doesn’t involve baggage. There’s a lot of baggage in farming, and it’s great to leave it all behind for a evening. The choir is good fun, your playing a part in a group, and your applying your efforts towards a concert. There’s not a lot of focus on you individually, so not a lot to stress over. Give it a go!
